Minnesota Timberwolves versus LA Clippers Pick Prediction NBA Pro Basketball Odds Preview 11-28-2012
  • 11 years ago
The 6-7 Minnesota Timberwolves will be on the road to face the 8-6 LA Clippers in an NBA pro basketball game on Wednesday night. Tip off time from Staples Center in Los Angeles is set for 10:30PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by NBA TV.

The current odds reveal the home team LA Clippers favored by -9 points and the total is set at 192 points. There has been no movement on the side or total since the NBA odds were released a couple of hours ago.

In the shortened season last year the Timberwolves and Clippers met four times with Minnesota winning three of the four games. Trend: LA Clippers are 0-4 ATS in their past four games.

This is a back end of a back to back for Minnesota as they defeat Sacramento last night 97-89 as a +1 point underdog. The T’Wolves struggle mightily for offense with just 92 points scored per game along with 42.6% shooting. They have scored 100 or more points in just one of their 13 games this season. Minnesota has been hit hard with injuries with Ricky Rubio and Chase Budinger missing from the lineup for significant time. Kevin Love has returned to the lineup and the All Star contributes last night with 23 points and 24 rebounds in the Timberwolves road win at Sacramento. In four games played thus far this season Love averages 24 points along with 16 boards a game.

The Clippers have hit a funk and has dropped four straight games. The defensive woes we saw in home losses earlier this month against Cleveland and Golden St has reared its ugly head again. We said the Clippers were in a bad spot on Monday night playing their first home game off a four game road trip but we didn’t expect an outright loss to New Orleans as a -13 point favorite. They allowed over 50% shooting to the Hornets making it the second straight game teams where making over ½ of their shots.
