MQM Leaders meet religious Scholars and attend Majalis for Sectarian Harmony

Certain extremist elements have been trying to stoke a sectarian strife across the country, observed MQM’s Coordination Committee in a meeting with religious scholars and clerics of different school of thought on Saturday. Condemning the reported terrorist acts during this Muharram, the committee called on clerics and scholars to play their role for the solidarity of the Muslims.
The committee members, notably Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari, Wasim Ahmed and Dr Sagheer Ahmed, met with the scholars and clerics with the aim to convey a peace message of their party chief, Altaf Hussain. The scholars, including Shah Tarabul Haq Qadri, Mufti Naeem, Allama Talib Johri and Allama Shenshaha Hussain Naqvi assured the MQM committee of their full co-operation.
