A delegation of the MQM comprising of Babar Ghauri, Wassem Akhtar, Abdul Qadir Khanzada and Asif Hasnain meet the Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has assured the MQM that the government is taking all necessary steps for restoring peace in Karachi and the situation would improve in a few days.
The delegation apprised the prime minister about the situation in Karachi.Prime Minister Ashraf informed the delegation that he had directed Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah to utilize all resources in restoring peace in Karachi.
