STORY: Rock and Roll king Elvis Presley is seen holding a news conference ahead of his New York concerts in 1972 in a newly released DVD.
The rare footage, recorded on June 9, 1972, a day ahead of his legendary four nights of performances at New York's Madison Square Garden, has been discovered and added to a new 40-year anniversary DVD and CD set edition of "Prince From Another Planet."
The DVD also includes footage of Presley's performance on Saturday (June 10, 1972) afternoon at Madison Square Garden, captured on hand-held camera by a fan.
The legendary concert was the first time that Presley had played in New York. It would also be his last.
