There have been violent clashes in southeastern Turkey as Kurds took to the streets in a show of support for a hunger strike by prison inmates.
Around 700 Kurd nationalists have been refusing solid food for over 60 days.
They want the jailed leader of the banned Kurdistan Workers Party to have access to lawyers.
