Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she had a double mastectomy after discovering she was carrying a gene that increased the risk of her developing breast cancer. The TV host told Hello! magazine about the surgery in an interview published on Monday (November 5). Osbourne, who put the eccentric life of her family on view in the reality TV series "The Osbournes", said she did not want to spend the rest of her life with a shadow hanging over her.

Pop band No Doubt was forced to remove a new Wild West-themed music video and issue an apology after getting complaints from the Native American community, saying its intention was "never to offend, hurt or trivialize" their culture or history. The Southern California band posted an apology on their official website. The video, which debuted on Friday (November 2), featured Gwen Stefani dressed as a Native American princess captured by two bandmates dressed as cowboys, and rescued by another band member dressed as a tribe chief. The video was for the song "Looking Hot," the second single from No Doubt's latest album "Push and Shove," their first studio release in a decade

Hollywood paid tribute to comic star Eddie Murphy on Saturday (November 3). Murphy was honored at the Spike TV event, marking 30 years since the release of Murphy's groundbreaking stand-up concert film "Delirious," and the classic buddy-cop movie "48 Hrs." Chris Rock and Jamie Foxx were some of the stars on hand to recognize the comic. "Eddie Murphy: One Night Only" will air on November 14 on Spike TV.
