The Houston Rockets beat the Detroit Pistons 105-96 on Wednesday. James Harden immediately approved his worth, scoring 37 points, 12 assists and six rebounds in his debut with the Rockets.
What about the other new guy, Jeremy Lin? Taiwan's favorite son scored 12 points, but continued to struggle with turnovers. He had four this game. Clearly there is room for improvement.
The Rockets plan to build a team around Harden, who is described as a "foundational player". Will it be enough to get them to the play-offs?
