Talk of a ceasefire in Syria

Kofi Annan's replacement Lakhdar Brahimi made the announcement in Egypt.

SOUNDBITE: International envoy Lakhdar Brahimi saying (Arabic):

"All I want to tell you is that after my visit to Damascus, there was an agreement amongst the Syrian government for a ceasefire during Eid and I believe that they will release a statement either today or tomorrow."
