Khurshid clarifies 'veiled threat' to Kejriwal

After making controversial remarks daring activist turned politician Arvind Kejriwal, Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid has clarified his comment. Khurshid has claimed that he was merely quoting couplets and never threatened the IAC leader. The Law Minister's explanation has however not gone down well with his opponent Kejriwal, who continues to maintain the momentum of his attack on Khurshid. Referring to Kejriwal's threat to stage a protest in his home constituency at Farrukhabad from November 1 over alleged irregularities in a trust run by Khurshid, the senior Congress leader said, "Let them come and visit Farrukhabad. But let him also return from Farrukhabad." Khurshid also said that he have been made the Law Minister and asked to work with the pen. He will work with the pen but also with blood. The footages of this statement aired on news channels and were seen as a murder threat by Kejriwal.
