Australian PM visits Bali bombing monument

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard visits the site of the Bali bombings on the 10th anniversary of the attacks.
Bomb blasts ripped through nightclubs in this popular tourist spot, leaving over 200 people dead - 88 of them were Australians.
It was Australia's worst peacetime attack on its citizens.
Gillard said it had been an emotional time, but acknowledged Indonesia had come a long way since 2002.

"Fortunately we know because of the policing work that's been done that people can come to Bali and experience Bali with all of its beauty with all rest and relaxation that it offers for Australians."
On Friday (October 12) night, a candle-light vigil was held at the site to remember those who died.
Security was tightened for the anniversary amid fears of another attack.
But officials said it went ahead without any problems.
