Texas mom awaits sentencing after allegedly gluing her child and beating her.

After having problems with potty training her 2 year old daughter, 23 year old Elizabeth Escalona, admitted to super gluing the child’s hands to the wall and then beating her senseless. The 2 year old was in a coma for two days after being severely beaten.

She had multiple bruises, as well as cuts and teeth marks. Escalona is now facing criminal abuse charges that could land her in jail for a long time. The charges carry possible life sentence, but the prosecutors are looking to put her away for 45 years.

There is a Facebook group called Lock Up Elizabeth Escalona with over 4 thousand four hundred likes and an online petition circulating with almost 4 hundred signatures to get her put away for life.

Escalona is the mother of four other children, one of whom she gave birth to while in jail.

Regarding the child’s health, Dallas County district attorney told the Los Angeles Times, “It’s too early to tell if she’s going to have any brain injuries to where she’s going to be developmentally delayed. Right now she’s talking and she’s happy.”
