Chelsea skipper John Terry has been suspended for four games and fined £220,000 ($356,356) by the FA Regulatory Commission for uttering a racial slur at Anton Ferdinand of the Queens Park Rangers during an English Premier League match on Oct. 31, 2011.

Terry, who announced his retirement from England's international side on Sunday, can appeal the ruling. The suspension does immediately take effect, so Terry, 31, is expected to suit up for Chelsea against Arsenal tomorrow.
