Nigeria boarding school destroyed by bomb

An Islamic boarding school has been flattened by a bomb attack in the town of Zaria in northern Nigeria. The school is run by a prominent Salafist cleric who is an outspoken critic of the Islamist extremist group Boko Haram. Two of the alleged attackers were killed in the blast, which was followed by a gun battle. Several bystanders were wounded.
