You see it on TV, you see it on the internet and you hear about it on the radio. Texting while driving is causing serious injuries and deaths. People are now being charged and convicted of manslaughter for texting while driving that causes someone to die. These types of charges were usually reserved for those driving while intoxicated, but not anymore.

Studies have proven that texting while driving carries the same risks of causing a car or truck accident as someone who is driving drunk. Texting is the same as having a blood alcohol level of .08 which is the legal limit in Texas for getting a DWI.

If you have been in a car or truck accicdent, you should really know whether the person who hurt you was drinking or texting. Why is this important? Learn more by watching the video.
