Having seen a congregation of the best longboard riders in Australia, the final day of the Australian Longboard Titles as part of the Australian Surf Festival did not disappoint, with big scores and big waves on offer.

In wind swept tricky conditions at Bonny Hills, Port Macquarie, NSW, it was Jackson Close (QLD) and Emma Webb (VIC) who shone the brightest, taking the crowns for the open men and open women's divisions.

Close was consistent throughout the week long event, competing in the winning Queensland teams challenge, before topping defending champion Dane Pioli in the Final and is now the Australian Longboard champion.
