Miners' strike tops S Africa congress agenda

Unions in South Africa are meeting for their national congress in Johannesburg.

The major talking point for delegates will be the violent mining crisis which has gripped the country for the past five weeks.

Tens of thousands of miners remain on strike, and many are critical of the close ties between the main labour unions and the ruling ANC party.
