Catalonia push for economic independence

Leaders of the northern Catalonia region of Spain are using the nation's financial troubles to bolster support for its continued calls for economic independence from Madrid. The push comes ahead of talks between Angela Merkel , the Gernan chancellor, and José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, her Spanish counterpart, on how to deal with Spain's economic troubles.
