Remains of ancient people uncovered in Mexico

Archeologists in Mexico city have discovered what they say is the skeleton of a young, Aztec woman.

Rocio Morales, an archaeologist, and her team have discovered the remains five meters below the surface in Mexico City's Temple Mayor.

The discovery is unprecedented, it is the first evidence of mass sacrifice or reburial of remains for as member of the ruling class in the Aztec empire.

Morales, have said:"It's really exciting to make this kind of discovery and be so lucky to to be the first one to dig it up and register it."
