Razer Redefines the Razer Blade At a Lower Price (Interview) - PAX Prime 2012

Razer took the video game industry by storm last year when they announced the Razer Blade gaming laptop, which they considered to be the "world's first true gaming laptop". Featuring their exclusive SwitchBlade technology, gamers had the ability to fully customize 10 LCD shortcut buttons allowing for true multitasking whether its watching YouTube videos while playing Battlefield 3, or cruising around Facebook while watching a fullscreen film on the device's 17-inch display.

During PAX Prime 2012, Razer took the Razer Blade to the next level by announcing its successor at a surprisingly lower price. Priced at $2499 rather than $2799 like its predecessor, the all-new Razer Blade features a brand new quad-core Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processor that even Razer is unable to speak on at the moment along with NVIDIA's GeForce GTX660M GPU featuring 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM. The new Blade also features a hybrid storage configuration with a 500GB hard drive and 64GB solid state drive allowing for Solid State performance without the lack of storage space.
