Kashmir's economy shattered by conflict

In 2010 violent protests violence erupted across Kashmir as people protested against the Indian rule.

For weeks, a state of curfew was imposed bringing down productivity and people's morale.

While normalcy has returned back to the state, there are other problems facing people here.

No new jobs have been created and no new industries are being set up. Because of this, over 600,000 people are looking for work.

Prerna Suri reports from Srinagar in Indian administered Kashmir, where the economy has been suffering because of years of conflict.
