Sri Lanka's Fonseka vows to continue fight

Just a few days after he was released from prison, Sri Lanka's former army chief vowed to continue his political struggle.

Sarath Fonseka was jailed for corruption after standing as joint opposition candidate against President Mahinda Rajapaksa in 2010 elections.

After his defeat, opposition parties went their separate ways and have been unable to mount any significant challenge against the government.

Fonseka tells Al Jazeera's Minelle Fernandes that a united front is key.
