President Assad's political adviser speaks to Al Jazeera

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has addressed his nation, pledging more reforms and again blaming "armed gangs" and religious extremists for stirring unrest.
Al Jazeera speaks to Bouthaina Shaaban, who is minister and political adviser to Assad.
She says the president has delivered on previous reform pledges and that his reform agenda is based on "what the Syrian people want".
