Blast kills at least four in Pakistan's Quetta
  • 12 years ago
At least four people are killed and 10 others injured when a car bomb exploded in Pakistan's southwestern city of Quetta Sunday.

The car was parked in front of a house and later exploded.

No-one is claiming responsibility for the blast.

Quetta is the capital of Baluchistan province. Baluch militants have been waging a low-level insurgency for decades for more autonomy.

Islamist militants linked to al Qaeda and the Taliban are also active in the strategic region that borders Afghanistan and Iran.
