Hey Eurofans! We have a new video for you to check out, featuring an up and coming DJ from Italy, Alex Gaudino. This electronica, dance, hip hop mix blends a sound that is reminiscent of Madonna (yes, we heard "Sorry" in this, too -- though it's not enough of a copy to get our knickers in a twist). Gaudino has found success in Europe and is turning to the U.S. for his upcoming, full length LP. For "I Don't Wanna Dance" he teams up with someone familiar to Americans, Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas.
Gaudino boasts hits "Destination Calabria" and "Watch Out", which have allowed him to be described as "One of the most prolific producers in Italy," by BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong. His latest single, "I Don't Wanna Dance" was released July, 2012, on Happy Music. This is the first single, in a series that Gaudino plans to release in anticipation for the release of his full-length LP, which will be available by the end of summer 2012.

Alex discussed his collaboration with Taboo, recently, saying "I met Taboo at a festival in Spain where we were both DJing. We hit it off immediately and decided we wanted to work together. I sent him a beat and he wrote the verses and got Taio Cruz to write the hook. Amazing. I went to his home studio in LA to finalize the track and the atmosphere was magical. It was like we'd known each other all our lives and the creative buzz was awesome."

Here's what a press release for the two had to say about Taboo: The multi-talented and exceptionally stylish Jaime Gomez, also known to his bandmates and fans as "Taboo" is not just a member of the global chart-topping sensation, The Black Eyed Peas, he is also quickly becoming a global DJ sensation. Currently working on his debut solo album, Taboo's music incorporates his love for his Latino roots alongside his passion for beat-driven dance music with rhythms that get the whole room moving.

Here's what the press release had to say about Alex Gaudino: Following "Watch Out," Alex released "I'm a DJ" in 2008, which was a massive hit across club charts worldwide. In 2009, Alex gave the Joan Jett's classic "I Love Rock'n'Roll" the full electro-house treatment. "I Love Rock'n'Roll" was a gigantic success worldwide, particularly in France where it was released on Bob Sinclar's label, Yellow. In 2010 Alex smashed it again, going to number 10 in the UK singles sales chart with "I'm in Love (I Wanna Do It)." The song got huge airplay worldwide and sat at number 1 on the Billboard Dance airplay charts for four weeks in a row in the U.S. In 2011, Alex released "What a Feeling" featuring Kelly Rowland, which went to number 6 in the UK singles sales chart and received massive radio airplay worldwide.
