Crucial tie to decide Afghanistan's T20 entry
  • 12 years ago
Afghanistan's rise as a cricketing nation could be about to take another big move forward.

If the team can beat Namibia in Dubai on Thursday, they will have qualified for this year's Twenty20 world cup to be held in Sri Lanka.

It would be their second straight appearance in the finals after making their debut in the West Indies two years ago.

Al Jazeera's Andy Richardson reports from Dubai.
