Dengue fever spreads in Pakistan's Punjab
  • 12 years ago
The Pakistani government is struggling to cope with an outbreak of dengue fever in the central Punjab state.
More than 4,000 cases of the mosquito-borne disease have been confirmed.
Fear-mongering and a lack of awareness about the fever has helped cause panic in the area.

Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports from a hospital in the city of Lahore.
