Note: This is not a TV show, but a once-off promotion with the actors from Chinese Paladin 3 for the game, Fantasy Zhuxian by Perfect World, which, states by a few articles I read, is the cartoon/alternate version of Jade Dynasty (Zhu Xian). However, I do believe the characters and story is different.
If you want to watch TV Series similar to this - then I recommend Chinese Paladin 3, the actors from here are also from CP3, and that series is also based from an RPG Game.
Anyone that is a fan of Anime, RPG Games, online MMORPG Games and such should check out ancient chinese series. There are many aspects in common, especially if you love games like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Dynasty Warriors.
Story Description (translated from long version)
