How to apply bandages to a horse

  • vor 12 Jahren
Horse bandages are developed for multiple purposes. The bandages therefore come in different shapes. Some bandages are applied warm and other bandages are applied cold. Some bandages need a bandage support, which is placed onto the horse's legs proir to applying the bandage itself and other bandages don't need the bandage support. In some cases, bandages are applied before or after the horse worked. These type of bandages normally are used to help the horse relax or replenish from hard work or an injury. Other bandages are applied explicitly for when the horse is actually working, meaning when it is active and when the legs need some extra support. Either way, bandages need to be applied correctly. Riders should practice how to bandade their horse to prevent for example blood strangulation.
