Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video game review of Hard Corps: Uprising for the Xbox 360 / Live Arcade by Konami and Arc System Works. This is an anime infused prequel to the run and gun classic Contra: Hard Corps for the Sega Genesis and retains the pure Contra shoot 'em up gameplay typical to the series. But plenty of new weaponry and modes add some fresh twists into this mix, including the addictive Rising mode with its RPG-esque ability upgrades, and local and online co-op play. Top it off with insanely explosive action sequences and challenging level design, and fans of arcade shooters will not be disappointed with this one!
