Local Natives surprise everyone, especially themselves

With their three-part harmonies, bright guitars, and African-like percussion, California's Local Natives have put themselves on the musical map. At the end of 2009 Gorilla Manor, their debut album, was released in Europe. Since the 16th of February it's also available in the US. Taylor Rice and Ryan Hahn, who both sing and play guitar, give a full explanation. "We still are blown away that people know our music out here at all."
