US Ambassador to Kenya, Scott Gration has resigned citing conflict with Washington. President Obama’s administration has recently raised concerns over the ambassadors leadership style. The ambassador hosted a community of gays in his official residence last week. The move that elicited uproar from a section of government officials. Kenya has outlawed same sex unions. The resignation of Gration has however been met with applause from Imenti Central MP Gitobu Imanyara who has termed Gration as too sympathetic to lords of impunity in Kenya.
