Dozens feared dead as flash floods sweep Northern Afghanistan

STORY: Days of flash floods in the Takhar Province in Afghanistan has severe damage and destroyed farmland, an official said Sunday.

Footage showed mud houses collapsing with residents frantically trying to rescue their belongings.

Heavy rains and floods have recently swept several Northern Afghanistan provinces with government officials fearing dozens of people may have been killed.
