Drought resistant seeds assist Kenyan farmers

People across the Sahel are struggling to grow crops on parched soils.

A so-called drought resistant seed is not on the market, which has been locally produced and distributed to farmers across lower Eastern Kenya at a reasonable price promises good yield, early maturity and resistance to common diseases.
