kWh meter in distress at 350 Amps !!

An 80 Amp meter was tested to it's maximum loading.
The meter is rated at 125 Amp thermal but with an inherent error of -3%
Over 200 Amps oscillations in the disc occur and it starts poling with the magnet and current coil assembly.
Excessive heating occurred in the 35 mil supply cable at 350 Amps.
The Ammeter is a CT meter run of a 400/5 Amp CT.
