Murali Vijay had earlier hit 42, Michael Hussey 54 and Suresh Raina a mesmerising 73 in 38 balls to steer Chennai to an imposing score. However, it was not enough as with support from Jacques Kallis, Shakib Al Hasan and then Manoj Tiwary hitting the winning runs, Kolkata clinched their maiden title.
