Turkey car bomb kills at least two

A victim arrives at hospital after a suspected suicide attack in central Turkey.

Turkey's interior ministry said two militants set off a bomb inside their car by a police headquarters in the province of Kayseri killing themselves and wounding at least 10 others.

An eye witness gave his account of the attack.

(SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) EYE WITNESS, BAHATTIN EKINCI, SAYING:

"I heard a gun being fired and saw a policeman fall to the ground and suddenly the car exploded. Shattered glass cut my hands, I ran inside. The explosion happened after an exchange of gunfire."

Various groups including Kurdish separatists and Islamist militants have carried out bomb attacks in Turkey, but there was no immediate claim of responsibility.
