Blue Dragon review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Blue Dragon for XBox 360. Blue Dragon: The smashing-together of Akira Toriyama's art style (read: Just like Dragon Ball et. al.), Nobuo Uematsu's music, and Hironobu Sakaguchi's... erm... Final-Fantasy-ness. That's the primary feel I get from this game. It looks like it wants to be Dragon Quest, but it plays like a relaxed, innovative take on Final Fantasy without getting too deep into breaking molds. XII and XIII were kinda off the grid, but this feels... comfortable. Classic RPG fans will enjoy it and appreciate the innovation, without going, "This is beyond the pale!" And that's refreshing.
