Jurors continue Hudson trial deliberations, Underwood tops charts

Jurors returned to a Chicago courthouse Thursday (May 10) to resume deliberating the case against Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law, who is accused of murdering three of her family members. A judge ordered the jurors sequestered at a hotel for the night after they deliberated for four hours Wednesday (May 09) following closing arguments in the case against William Balfour.

Carrie Underwood has topped the Billboard 200 chart with her fourth studio album "Blown Away." The album sold 267,000 copies in its first week, making it the second highest seller this year and Underwood's third album to debut at number 1 on the chart.

Meanwhile the Beastie Boys have returned to the charts after the death of member Adam Yauch last week. Their 1986 record "Licensed To Ill" re-entered the Billboard 200 at number 18 with 19,000 copies sold. Yauch died at age 47 following a battle with cancer.

Russell Brand is returning to the MTV stage. The comedian has signed on to host the MTV Movie Awards on June 03. Brand had previously been the M.C. at MTV's Video Music Awards in 2008 and 2009 - this will be his first time hosting the movie awards.

Finally, if being king doesn't work out, Prince Charles may have a fall-back career. The Prince of Wales visited the BBC studios in Glasgow, Scotland and gave a shot at reading the weather - going live with the news channel's lunchtime weather spot.
