Libyan opposition fighter speaks to Al Jazeera

Nasser, Libyan opposition fighter in Tajoura, east of the capital, Tripoli, in the Tripoli district, says the area is under lock down and sporadic gun fire still going on that area.

He told Al Jazeera that they had encountered about two kilometres from Tajoura in the al-Haniya area.

He also said that there was ongoing shelling from the Al Mansouria area.

"There is the fight between the rebels and Gaddafi forces.

"The rebels in are actually in a weaker position. The battalions are using heavier artillery."

Nasser said that civilians in the towns had not been injured because is the roads entering the areas had been.
