Fresh into their posts, President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev have stood shoulder-to-shoulder at Russia's annual Victory Day parade.
Thousands of soldiers and officers marched through Moscow's Red Square, marking the 67th anniversary of the end of World War II.
They were followed by tanks and missile launchers, as part of the public show of military might.
