New York rapper Adam Yauch passes away

Adam Yauch, a founding member of white rappers the Beastie Boys, has died of cancer at the age of 47.
He passed away on Friday in New York after suffering from the illness for nearly 3 years.
The Beastie Boys were inducted in to the Rock and Roll hall of fame last month. They were credited with bringing hip-hop to a wider audience.
