Muslims aim to bridge divide in US election - 13 Oct 08

Although American Muslims share a religion they are in fact drawn from a variety of different backgrounds, including African-Americans and those from new immigrant communities.

While their priorities may have differed in the past, leaders from both sides are now working on a common platform to address their needs in the run-up to the US presidential election.
