Blast at a Japanese factory causes extensive damage

A blast at a chemical plant in western Japan has killed one worker and injured at least 22 others.
It happened in Yamaguchi prefecture, some 700 kilometres southwest of Tokyo.
Around 400 buildings in the surrounding area were damaged. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
