Lucas Cook's debut, self-titled EP is toe-tapping, feel-good music! These five songs are a solid representation of his writing style and love for getting listeners on their feet. Consistent high-energy, charismatic performances have put Lucas on stage performing with great artists at some of the hottest venues in Austin. Cook released his first single: "Austin State of Mind" to the Texas Music Chart in fall 2010. The freshman release broke the top 100 and landed at #92, an uncommon occurrence for a first single. This up-tempo tune is pretty indicative of the feel-good vibe that Lucas infuses into his work and his shows. Earning the scuffs in his shoes, he is now working on his first full-length record to be released in late Fall 2011. Lucas and his band "The Collection" perform as the house band on the Bling Johnson Show. Airing Saturdays on KBVO Austin, Texas; The Bling Johnson Show is a half hour talk show with musical guests from Austin and all over Texas. Viewers enjoy a fun vibe of comedy, rock-n-roll, tattoos, Harley's and custom cars all with an entertainment perspective that can only be found in Austin!
