Velvet voiced Emma-Lee won critics over with her debut album "Never Just a Dream". Its eclectic mix of pop, jazz, folk and blues charmed listeners with old-time warmth and honest, confessional lyrics. The Toronto Star said "she's destined for big things". Memorable melodies, lush arrangements and an unforgettable voice lead Emma-Lee to win an Independent Music Award for "Best Love Song", showcases at high profile festivals such as SXSW, a national TV appearance on the CBC as well as heavy radio play on all of their stations and multiple film & television placements.
Emma-Lee recently wrapped up recording her sophomore album "Backseat Heroine" to be released fall 2011.
