Two US army officers killed in Afghan Koran protests

The Afghan Taliban says it was behind the killing in the capital Kabul of two Americans, believed to be senior army officers.
The pair were shot dead inside the heavily barricaded Interior Ministry as anti-Western protests raged for a fifth day across the country.
The militant group says the killings were in retaliation for the burning of copies of the Koran at a NATO base in Bagram.
