Rescue workers continue to pull injured out of the wreckage of a train. Local television stations are reporting that more than 500 people were injured and fatalities are likely.

"They're still taking people out of the second train car where the paramedics and fire-fighters are working. We've already transported over 300 injured people."

Passengers said the train appeared to have lost its brakes as it sped into the parked train.

The accident occurred during the busy morning rush hour.
