And finally... Nicolas Anelka has been among the brightest stars in European soccer. Now he's joined Shanghai's team Shenhua, raising fans and players hopes about establishing a world-class outfit.
French striker Nicolas Anelka made his name as a striker for Chelsea, and a significant player on other top European sides like Arsenal and Real (PRON ray-ahl) Madrid.
He arrived in Shanghai on Wednesday morning to join up with his new team Shanghai Shenhua.
His low-key arrival in the morning belied the huge expectations and excitement that he brings to the team and its fans.
[Wang Dalei, Goalkeeper, Shanghai Shenhua]:
"He is a fantastic player. We welcome him in joining our club and we are very happy. And we will eagerly adapt to the playing style of this football star."
The team is also involved in talks to bring in Anelka's former Chelsea strike partner Didier Drogba, as well as other European talent.
They've also appointed the French Jean Tigana as coach, and Australian striker Joel Griffins, raising the team's international profile, and pushing hopes that it will, at minimum claw its way to the top of the Chinese Super League this year.

Shenhua finished 11th in the league last season and have not won the title since 2003.
