The Partland Brothers have been making music together since the early 80's, when a Toronto radio station's "Homegrown" talent search led to their debut release with Capitol records. Their hits Soul City, Honest Man and One Chance led to acclaimed appearances on myriad stages, including American Bandstand and The Arsenio Hall Show; and with renown performers, from The Beach Boys to The Moody Blues and Al Green. More recently they have been honored to work with their dear friend Ronnie Hawkins, and their music has been featured on Canada AM and the Sirius Satellite Network. Indie Week 2010 in Toronto is the ideal setting to showcase their harmonious reemergence, in the city where it all began.
