Mike Donaghy is a singer/songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist from Bangor N.Ireland. His music and live shows have been described as 'mesmorising' and 'a complete effortless masterpiece'. His songs are written with a heap of sincerity and emotion. Mike grew up in a musical family, on a healthy diet of Bob Dylan, Tracy Chapman, John Prine, Don Henley and Van Morrisson amongst others. He has been writing music since he was a child and playing in bands since he was 15. He has played in many bands such as renowned cuban group 'Cafe Cubana', a Rat Pack group, wedding band 'Page 21' and local Rock group 'seconnd floor scandal'. Mike became a profesional musician in 2007. He studied music and performing arts for 5 years along with business. After leaving college he set up a business called 'Centrestage Music and Arts LTD' which specialises in music teaching. In 2007 he went to London to train with Yamaha Music UK. He is now a Director of Yamaha Music Schools Ireland.
